We may be a little late posting this but some conversations are worth revisiting.
On March 20, Epirus DAO participated in TechFuse in Ioannina, one of the most important technology events to take place in Epirus in recent years, alongside dozens of impactful talks and fireside chats around artificial intelligence, startups, innovation and the future of technology.
The room was filled with more than 100 people, with great energy and genuine interest in the technologies shaping the next decade.
On the second day of the event, Epirus DAO founder Spiros Bounas joined Vasilis Pazopoulos, Co-founder and CEO of MyStage.ai, for a fireside chat titled “The Possibilities of Blockchain”.
The discussion focused on how blockchain is evolving from a technology many associated exclusively with cryptocurrencies into a new layer of internet infrastructure affecting payments, communities, digital ownership, memberships, identity, data and, of course, its connection with the era of artificial intelligence and AI agents.
We talked about creators, startups and businesses that can now build more direct relationships with their audiences, with fewer intermediaries and new models of participation and value creation. We also explored how online communities are beginning to gain real structure, participation and presence through blockchain technology.
During the discussion, the vision behind Epirus DAO was also presented as an effort to build an open community around blockchain, technology and collaboration, with the goal of giving Epirus an active presence on the global map of the new digital era.
The fact that such a discussion took place in Ioannina, within such a strong technology event, is especially important for the city and for Epirus as a whole. It shows that spaces, people and communities are beginning to emerge that want to actively participate in major technological shifts rather than simply observe them from a distance.
