Therron

Therron is the Epirus DAO initiative focused on activating local regions and communities through tools of decentralization, transparency, and collective action. From regional governments and municipalities to neighborhoods, remote villages, and islands, Therron serves as a digital infrastructure that connects people, needs, and initiatives through blockchain technology.

What it does

  • Supports local organization in DAO structures, where decisions are made collectively and transparently.
  • Provides know-how and mentoring to local entities for using simple blockchain tools in actions (e.g. budgeting, resource management, public consultations).
  • Promotes the creation of local nodes—physical or digital—as coordination hubs within the ecosystem.

Vision

Therron views communities as intelligent, living ecosystems—not passive recipients of technology, but active agents of progress. It is where the land meets the network. Where the local voice gains technological presence and power.

The Future of Therron

The program promotes the adoption of dApps for local self-governance, enabling:

  • Digital submission and voting on community proposals
  • Transparent micro-grants and funding flows
  • On-chain communities with identity, reputation, and history
  • Networking of local nodes within the broader Epirus DAO ecosystem
